This Season

Spring · April – June

Showing actions for the current season. Visit the season calendar for month-by-month detail.

  • Monitor for 1st–3rd instar nymphs hatching late April — tiny black with white dots
  • Install circle traps on high-risk trees now (takes 30 min, catches hundreds)
  • Apply imidacloprid soil drench to high-value trees before they absorb nutrients
  • Remove Tree of Heaven before sap runs hard — late spring is your last window
  • Check and empty circle traps weekly once nymph activity begins

Identify if you have Tree of Heaven on or near your property — ToH ID guide

Spray perimeter with contact insecticide if adult counts are high
Log all kills — adults, nymphs, and egg masses — /my-kills

Inspect vehicles and equipment before traveling out of an infested area
